ABOUT ME

I decided to start my own business after having a successful career in the Air Force and spending a few years in a few positions in the corporate world. I had known for many years that I wanted to pursue my lifetime passions –  creating beautiful photography, and working with people.

While in the Air Force, I was stationed for several years in England. During this time I was able to finish my BA degree I had started years earlier.  I had one professor who also taught at one of the colleges at Oxford University. Through him, I was able to get enrolled at Pembroke College Oxford, where I earned my MSt in History of Art and Visual Culture. I also had the privilege of working as an understudy to one of Britain’s most famous fashion and glamour photographers, which I give all the credit for helping me master my craft and influencing my interests in photography to this day.

My specialty is photography. Although, I earn most of my income from wedding, portraiture, performing artists shoots, and my fine art work, I also have a keen interest in working with various subjects or models on conceptual shoots. I am very proficient in using natural light, studio strobes, and strobist work. I am comfortable whether shooting portraits on the beach, doing headshots in the studio, or creating some edgy images with models in the night using only my strobist gear. 

And that’s what makes me happy about doing my work. Every session I shoot is unique, and I love seeing my subjects having as much fun in front of my camera, as I do behind it. I strive to make sure my clients are relaxed and enjoy their time while shooting with me.
